Brennan Brigante, APRN
Hamden Office
Brennan Brigante is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who provides compassionate care through medication management and solution focused treatment. He earned his Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Goodwin College, a Bachelor’s Degree in Professional Writing from Western Connecticut State University, and his Master of Science in Nursing from Regis College.
Brennan brings a diverse professional background to his work. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, he spent ten years working in group homes and autism classrooms. He then worked for eight years in intensive care, treating medical, surgical, and neurological patients, including during the Covid 19 pandemic. These experiences strengthened his calm and steady approach to patient care, which he now applies to the mental health setting.
At CBHA, Brennan focuses on general psychiatric medication management and provides Spravato intranasal treatments. His approach combines professionalism with warmth and accessibility. He is known for making patients feel comfortable, breaking down complex medical information into clear, understandable language, and creating a supportive environment where people feel heard.
For Brennan, the most rewarding part of his work is helping patients move beyond survival to live fuller, more meaningful lives. He is committed to being honest, supportive, and available, whether addressing major concerns or simply being a trusted presence for his patients.
Outside of work, Brennan is an avid cyclist currently training for a century ride of 100 miles. He also plays guitar and produces his own music.
