John Sidoli is a licensed professional counselor with 40 years of experience helping individuals work through mental health challenges and achieve meaningful recovery. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Princeton University and a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University.
John’s clinical approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and Gestalt therapy. He works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and addictions. He also has past certification in problem gambling treatment and brings that expertise into his work when applicable.
John uses a client centered approach that focuses on building a collaborative therapeutic relationship. He values creating a safe and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and encouraged to engage fully in their healing process. For him, the most rewarding aspect of his work is seeing people recover from dysfunction and regain a sense of well-being.
